Admissions - Special conditions for foreign candidates
Admission as a foreigner
Non Lebanese students who have completed their secondary studies in a foreign establishment can be candidates for ordinary admission.
They can also apply as a foreigner for a fixed quota of places in each institution. For admission as a foreigner; admission by competitive exam is not possible.
File for candidacy
Students who followed secondary studies in a foreign establishment, whether or not they are Lebanese, must fill out a file for candidacy common to all candidates of these institutions.
They may send in their completed file by fax provided they pay tuition at the same time.In this case the admission eventually decided by the jury remains conditional until the original file is presented.
Non Lebanese candidates should indicate whether or not they are candidates for registration as a foreigner.
Examination of the file
The processing of the file (calculation of average, note for the file) is the same as for other candidates at these institutions. Non Lebanese students who did secondary studies in a foreign establishment and who choose admission as a foreigner are a special category.
For the Lebanese students who did secondary studies in a foreign establishment and foreigners who are candidates for ordinary admission, account will be taken of a corrective coefficient calculated for their establishment so as not to be penalized in relation to the establishments familiar to USJ.
Remark
Lebanese and foreign students who choose ordinary registration can also be admitted by examination or by title like other candidates.
