Learn Arabic at USJ - CREA

The Center for Research and Arab Studies (CREA – Institute of languages and translation – FLSH) offers every year intensive and extensive sessions for learning literary Arabic or Lebanese dialect. Possibilities are as follows.

Modules of 48 hours / 2 weeks

3 Different Audiences

For non Arab speakers CREA offers intensive courses in the summer for 84 hours: the at summer school and during the academic year – intensive and extensive lessons. The students are grouped according to level: beginners, pseudo-beginners, advanced 1, advanced 2, perfection 1, perfection 2.
For those wishing to perfect their Arabic, CREA offers training for acquiring facility in expression or competence in scientific terminology for their specialization.
For students looking for optional courses CREA offers Arab modules of 2, 3 or 4 credits (1 credit = 10 hours) in the framework of optionals in the LMD system.

The courses are taught through interactive methodology.
A certificate of diligence is given at the end of the module.

The courses are open to all.
