Research is conducted in:

Concern with Cultural Affairs

USJ organizes expositions, congresses and encounters, conferences and colloquia. It animates festivals, presents stage plays in two well known theaters – Monnot and Beyrit. Most of these activities have an international character.

• Oriental Library (400,000 volumes in Islamic affairs, history, archaelogy, theology, fiqh, philosophy and Arab linguistics and literature, 1,300 periodicals, 3,500 rare manuscripts, 40,000 photos and post cards going back to the beginning of the 20th century. large collection of maps on Lebanon and the Middle East region).
• Library of Faris Zoghbie Cultural Foundation (60,000 volumes in law, political science, literature and culture).
