The mission

The students’ information and orientation department provides necessary information and support for a successful career and specialization choice.

1. On an instructive level, the service informs interested people about different majors taught at USJ, their admission’s condition and selection, the cost of each major, and the different specializations options, diplomas, careers, etc.
2. On an advisory level, the service helps interested people in their personal thoughts and choices concerning a specific specialization and / or a specific career, and orientates them in case they want to change their major or move to another faculty and institution. The service helps them also in elaborating a file of equivalence and researching to study abroad.

Also, the SEIO orientates people to other services and qualified persons able to help them depending on their needs and demands.

People receiving benefits

1. Students from secondary classes
2. Students from USJ and from different universities
3. Parents
4. Any other Lebanese or stranger person in need of some information, details and / or consultancy

The benefits

Services provided vary:

1. individual consultations at the SEIO office during its opening hours;
2. presentations at schools (after collaborating and fixing appointments with the schools administrations)
3. academic exhibitions and ceremonies in Lebanon and the region
4. an electronic address is also available for the public

Opening hours

Located at USJ – Damascus Street, the SEIO welcomes people:

• from September 1st to May 31, Monday to Friday, from 8h30 to 17h, Saturdays from 8h30 to 13h.
• from June 1st to August 31, Monday to Friday, from 8h30 to 13h30.
• on a previous appointment in the afternoon.
