Proche-Orient, Etudes en Management

The Journal Proche-Orient, Etudes en management (POEM) is a scientific journal specialized in management sciences, published by Saint Joseph University of Beirut with a yearly periodicity. The Journal POEM welcomes articles related to original researches which directly or indirectly concern the Management field; the contributions may have a theoretical and / or empirical anchoring. The authors agree to submit their papers to a peer review process and they also agree not to submit them simultaneously to other publications. To note that the opinions expressed in the articles are the sole responsibility of their authors.

The Journal POEM publishes scientific articles on the various fields of management sciences in the following languages: French, English and Arabic.

The disciplines generally covered in the Journal POEM are:

- Business Finance

- Finance of markets

- Marketing

- Management

- Business strategy and management

- Information systems

- Business Law

- Accounting

- Business Economics

- Economy

The list above is not exhaustive and the authors are also invited to study other questions within the Management field.

The manuscripts should be sent by e-mail to the journal Proche-Orient, Etudes en Management ( by March 31st 2020 for publication in July 2020. The articles must comply with the standards as set out in the "Instructions for authors" notice.

Instructions to Authors

Journal: Proche-Orient, Etudes en Management (POEM)

The maximum length of an article is 15 pages (summary/abstract and references included), written in Times 12, single interline. The document contains an abstract in French (400 characters maximum) with key words, and an abstract in English (400 characters maximum) with keywords.

The name of the authors and their institutional affiliation, e-mail and address, should appear on the first page. The articles should not include appendix; all the tables, figures, images or any other representation (in black and white) should be included in the body text.

- Numeration: The different parts of the text follow a simple numeration: 1. 1.1., 1.1.1., … - Title:

Times 18 in bold

- Abstract: Times 16 in bold

- Text: Times 12

- Title 1. : Times 14 in bold

- Titles 1.1. : Times 12 in bold

- Conclusion: Times 14
