Desiree is an entrepreneur, a startup advisor, and an investor with over 18 years of global experience spanning fintech, pharma and eCommerce.

She is currently advising digital transformations and product launches through her Launch & Grow consultancy business. Most recently, Desiree co-founded an SME lending startup in Mexico City.
Prior to that, she spent ~4 years are Amazon.com in Washington where she led the strategy for the next $1Bn expansion for the company, as well as various Big Data/ML-based projects to enhance the customer experience and reduce operational costs. Desiree had previously spent ~7 years at IBM Silicon Valley and Germany, in various technical and business capacities. She also worked at startups and world leading research institutes before that.

Desiree holds a BS with honors from the Computer Science and Engineering department at the University of California, San Diego and an MBA from INSEAD France and Singapore.
