Important Information on Covid-19

Saint Joseph University Dubai is committed to providing a safe, sound and healthy environment for its students, faculty members, administrative staff and researchers. For this reason, the university always follows the most updated edition of the Protocols & Procedures Manual issued by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates. All students, faculty members and administrative staff, along with the Health and Safety Officer, are responsible for the implementation of any update issued by the competent authority in the United Arab Emirates. The university community abides by all policies and procedures put in place in order to contain the spread of the virus.

The university commits to:

1. Monitor continuously the university’s Covid-19 plan, policies and procedures and amend them in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and the competent authorities.
2. Display information on the signs and symptoms of Covid-19 and correct hand-washing techniques.
3. Provide remote awareness trainings with its community.
4. Communicate the emergency hotline for its community to report symptoms of virus infection or to receive any information related to Covid-19 and the policies and procedures adopted by the university in this regard.
5. Inform its community of essential hygiene and respiratory etiquette and physical distancing requirements.
6. Keep a sanitization and sterilization log.
7. Follow the adopted procedure in the event of someone showing symptoms of Covid-19 while on campus.
8. Continuously follow up with its community to determine its vaccination rate.
9. Keep its Emergency and Crisis Management Committee active.
