Cette unité d’enseignement va contribuer au développement de la compétence 2 du référentiel de formation.:"Gérer l’accouchement d’une présentation eutocique en tenant compte des différentes complications et pathologies qui peuvent survenir au cours des quatre stades du travail" et de la compétence 3: "Assurer le suivi global, de la mère et du nouveau-né dans toute la période du post-partum".
