يهدف هذا المقرر إلى مساعدة قادة المدارس الحاليين أو قادة المدارس المستقبليين في الحصول على المعرفة والمهارات والخصائص المرتبطة بقيادة مجتمعات التعلم المهنية. PLC هو نموذج تعليمي انبثق من ممارسات تربوية تمتد إلى عدة عقود على الأقل. في جوهرها، فإن PLC عبارة عن مجموعة من الصفات على مستوى المدرسة مرتبطة بالتميز في التدريس والتعلم كوسيلة للمعلمين للمشاركة في التطوير المهني مما يؤدي إلى تعزيز تعلم الطلاب من خلال التقييم المستمر لممارسات التدريس في التعلم المستمر والدامج والتعاوني والشامل بطريقة موجهة لتعزيز النمو
