This course introduces students to the different basic concepts and techniques and terminology of accounting in English and French GAAP. It deals with different aspects of measuring, classifying, reporting and interpreting financial information within the context of generally accepted accounting principles and international accounting standards. Students will be introduced to the accounting cycles for service, merchandising, and manufacturing businesses.
