Michel started his career as an electronics engineer and was one of the pioneers of RFID technology. He was one of first employees of Gemplus (now Gemalto) specialising in RFID and mass transit before founding STELLA Electronics in 1996. Having built up the business for 8 years and after selling it to a large group Michel stayed on to manage the unit for another 7 years. In 2011 he started researching a business solution for an industry wide container monitoring and coordination system. Michel founded TRAXENS in 2012 and is now the Chairman of the Board. Michel has successfully negotiated the entry of several strategic leaders into TRAXENS' capital along with institutional and financial backers
