In the scope of Opération 7e Jour (O7), volunteers from the Faculty of Dentistry (FMD) of Saint-Joseph University of Beirut (USJ), in partnership with the Rotary Club of Aley and the Municipality of Bejjeh – Jbeil, conducted a one-day dental campaign for all children aged between 5 and 16 years old on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
More than 100 children participated and enjoyed a tour in 3 different stations aiming to prevent and teach dental hygiene. They then had access to the mobile dental unit, donated by the Rotary Club of Aley to FMD, for a free dental check-up and fluoride application. Toothpastes, toothbrushes and dental supplies were also distributed for free.
It was a day full of smiles thanks to our dear volunteers.
