Saint Joseph University in Beirut is looking to recruit a

 « Copywriter - Translator »

1. Main tasks and / or Responsibilities:

• Convert text and audio recordings from French or Arabic to English
• Prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations
• Proofread English and translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
• Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs
• Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format
• Checks the consistency of the texts and proposes improvements to the content created by the publication and communication service for various media platforms.
• Creates content for the English version of the university’s website.
• Writes advertising texts for various medias platforms.

1. Required :  

• BA in Translation, Interpreting or similar field
• Years of experience: 5+
