As part of its “Business Conferences” course, the Faculty of Business and Management had the pleasure and honor to host Ms. Diala Kobeissi, for a very rich and interesting talk on private banking and financial markets. Ms. Kobeissi is an FGM alumna, who graduated in 2013. She holds a Double Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Finance. After she graduated, she worked for almost nine years in the private banking industry in Lebanon. Certified Private Banker from Luxembourg, she managed more than USD 200 million worth of HNW and UHNW clients’ assets, in Lebanon, the GCC, and Europe. She trained and managed a team of junior bankers in acquiring and managing clients and headed projects related to improving the process's efficiency, workflows, and procedures. Most recently, she has decided to complement her experience in the private sector by studying for a master’s degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy during which she explored the world of the United Nations in Geneva.
