WORKSHOP ANNULÉ À UNE DATE QUI SERA ANNONCÉE ULTÉRIEUREMENT

As part of the ANR CIM-Lib project, the Faculty of Economics at Saint Joseph University of Beirut and EconomiX (CNRS, Paris Nanterre University) organize a Workshop on Crises and Resilience in Developing Countries on November 2 and 3, 2023.

The workshop will be hosted by the Saint Joseph University of Beirut. This international workshop aims at creating a research forum to share and discuss cutting-edge theoretical and empirical work, in economics and sociology, on the multidimensional crises shaking developing countries.

WORKSHOP CONTENT

• Plenary sessions with invited keynote speakers Olivier Bargain (Bordeaux School of Economics) and Paul Makdissi (University of Ottawa).

• Presentations (in-session and poster) and discussions of original papers.

• A roundtable discussion moderated by the economist and journalist Albert Kostanian on Lebanon’s economic and social situation in the aftermath of Lebanon’s recent multiple crises.
