This course examines the legal impact of the digital transformation of medicine through telemedicine, cloud computing, data analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI). It also explores the different aspects of the interaction between technology and policy around the topics of privacy and security (data protection, information privacy, and digital security). It covers the current (in Lebanon) and potential legal and regulatory strategies that can be used to achieve aims such as data protection and ethical artificial intelligence.
