The application process for the Magis Exchange (Magis 8) is launched!
USJ students can spend the first semester of academic year 24/25 in one of the MAGIS network universities.
An official program by the International Association of Jesuit Universities (IAJU), the MAGIS student exchange is an innovative and one-of-a-kind higher education program of the International Association of Jesuit Universities (IAJU) that aims to build cohorts of citizens who have participated in a unique semester-long academic and service international exchange and that will help students discern their role as global agents of change, promoting Ignatian men and women for others, and fostering leadership and reflection about current pressing social and environmental issues.
ASSOCIATED TIMELINE
- Student application deadline: April 15, 2024
- Destination assignation by Task Force: May 15, 2024
-Students informed of assigned destination: June 10, 2024
- Approximate start of Global Environmental Citizenship Course: September 30, 2024
- Student exchange begins: January/February/May 2025
