30 october 2024

As part of Erasmus Days, we’re proud to celebrate the SETC project (Social Entrepreneurship in Times of Crises), an Erasmus+ (Key Action 2) initiative led by our University Saint Joseph Business School, that promotes social entrepreneurship within Lebanon’s higher education landscape.

We are proud and thrilled to feature Firas Yehya, a distinguished Master’s graduate whose success story exemplifies the transformative power of education. As the founder of “Apple House Company”, a social enterprise dedicated to supporting local farmers in Lebanon. Firas has established a sustainable business that fosters economic resilience and social impact. With the invaluable support and guidance of his professors, along with the practical insights he gained from his studies at USJ Business School, Firas was able to bring his vision to life and create meaningful change in his community. To learn more about Firas's inspiring journey and the impact of the SETC project, don’t hesitate to watch the video showcasing his work and achievements! For reference The SETC project, funded by Erasmus+ and in collaboration with European and local partners, equips young leaders like Firas to tackle pressing challenges through innovative solutions. We extend our gratitude to Erasmus+, the SETC team, and all stakeholders involved in this initiative for their commitment to empowering the next generation of social entrepreneurs.
