The Faculty of Education (FSEDU) at USJ actively participated in a significant national research project titled "Situational Analysis on Teaching-Learning Materials in Early Childhood Education in Lebanon." This initiative, headed by Genesis Analytics and funded by the World Bank, aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the state of teaching and learning materials in early childhood education. FSEDU played a critical role in executing key components of the project, which included conducting in-depth interviews with early childhood educators and piloting innovative learning assessment tools. These efforts were instrumental in identifying challenges and opportunities within the existing educational framework. The project outcomes are expected to inform evidence-based policies and practices that enhance the quality and accessibility of early childhood education across Lebanon. The results were also shared by the Lebanese Ministry of Education as well as the CRDP. This collaboration underscores FSEDU's commitment to impactful research and its dedication to improving educational outcomes for young learners.
