Opération 7e jour (O7) reaffirmed its commitment to community building with the 2025 Spring Market, held from March 26 to 28 at USJ Humanities Campus on Damascus Road. Each day, from noon to 8 PM, the campus was transformed into a vibrant marketplace that celebrated Lebanon’s creative spirit.
The Spring Market served as a cost-free platform for small businesses and independent artisans, providing over 40 vendors the chance to engage with a broader audience, showcase their creations, and enhance their visibility.
Visitors discovered a rich selection of handcrafted goods, gourmet treats, and wellness products. The market featured everything from organic olive oil and wine to artisanal chocolate, traditional pastries, marzipan confections, cookies, savory snacks, sauces, soups, and homemade pantry staples. On the artisan side, guests found string art on wood, upcycled décor, paintings, icons, crochet pieces, handmade tote bags, jewelry, home accessories, soaps, body care products, exotic plant arrangements, local books, and story collections.
Beyond being a shopping destination, the Spring Market became a lively cultural hub, nurturing creativity, supporting local entrepreneurship, and strengthening the connection between the USJ community and artisans from all over Lebanon. A saj manakish station and coffee bar by Agonista kept the energy high with fresh bites and warm drinks throughout the event.
O7 extends its sincere gratitude to its sponsors for their invaluable support, which made the market even more memorable. Bioderma contributed to the experience with skincare samples customized for different skin types, while Mtanos Trading delighted visitors with snacks from their Bakerolez line and samples of their latest chocolate collection, adding flavor and fun to the event.
In a meaningful act of solidarity, O7 collaborated with HairSalonHS - Achkout and Faire Face NGO on day two of the market to host a hair donation drive for women battling cancer. Donors received complimentary haircuts, and more than 20 ponytails were collected to create custom wigs, providing both a boost of confidence and a powerful show of compassion for those undergoing treatment.
The 2025 O7 Spring Market was a resounding success, defined by generosity, creativity, and community engagement. This event highlights O7’s ongoing dedication to promoting local talent, driving social impact, and strengthening community bonds.
