For the first time, the renowned Student’s Games in Lausanne will host a non-European university: The Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ).

Internationally recognized for its strong academic standards and unwavering commitment to sports, USJ has been proudly representing Lebanon in international university competitions for over two decades. A powerhouse in Lebanese university athletics, USJ remains the undefeated leader of interuniversity championships.

From April 11 to 14, 2025, USJ will compete alongside 25 leading European institutions, including the EHL Hospitality Business School, the University of Fribourg, UCLouvain, and the University of Strasbourg. Its participation underscores both its rising international reputation and the growing recognition of its athletic excellence beyond national borders.

More than a participation, this invitation marks a defining moment for Lebanese university sports. The USJ community is rallying behind its athletes, hopeful they will once again deliver performances that reflect their talent, discipline, and drive.

Once again, USJ carries the nation’s pride to the international stage, ready to compete, inspire, and make history.
