Dean Pr. Fouad Zmokhol and Pr. May Sayegh had a very productive meeting with HE Dr. Amer Al-Basat, Minister of Economy and Trade, to extend a formal invitation for him to patronize an upcoming event dedicated to social entrepreneurship .

This major event will be organized by our USJ Business School under the Erasmus+ CBHE (Capacity Building in Higher Education) program, an EU-funded initiative that promotes collaboration between universities to strengthen the quality, impact, and relevance of higher education in driving innovation, social responsibility, and sustainable economic development.

During the meeting, Dean Zmokhol emphasized the importance of the Ministry’s support in empowering youth and reinforcing Lebanon’s ecosystem for social entrepreneurship.

His Excellency welcomed the invitation and expressed appreciation for initiatives that connect academia with national development priorities.
