Participation à la conférence “Lebanon’s Industrial Parade" 2025

07 août 2025

USJ Business School, represented by our Dean, Pr Fouad Zmokhol, was proud and honored to actively participate in the “Lebanon’s Industrial Parade 2025” conference, particularly in the panel discussion “Reviving Lebanon’s Industrial Sector: Challenges, Innovation & Global Potential.”

In his intervention, Pr Zmokhol highlighted that reviving Lebanon’s industrial sector is not just an option, it is a necessity for driving economic recovery, creating sustainable employment, and generating foreign currency. This revival is especially critical given the country’s prolonged financial crisis, heavy reliance on imports, and steadily shrinking productive base.

He stressed that this transformation must be driven by a strategic and coordinated approach, anchored in five key pillars:

  • Political stability
  • Energy reform
  • Diaspora engagement
  • An innovation-driven mindset
  • A coherent industrial policy

With the right combination of local expertise, international partnerships, and targeted reforms, Lebanon can move beyond crisis management toward building a productive, export-oriented economy.

At USJ Business School, we prepare our students to face these very challenges, equipping them with diversified, practical, and highly valued skills that open doors across all sectors.
