The Faculty of Economics (FSE) was honored to welcome H.E. Gyusuk Geon, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Lebanon, for an inspiring lecture on Korea’s remarkable economic success.

The Ambassador shared valuable insights into Korea’s development journey and highlighted avenues of collaboration between Korea and Lebanon in both economic and social fields.

Our Economics students had the unique opportunity to engage directly with H.E. Geon, gaining perspectives and advice to help guide their future careers.

We were equally privileged to hear from Mr. Walid Rasamny, President of Rasamny Group, member of the FSE Strategic Advisory Council, and President of the Korean League, who provided an enriching perspective on Korea’s economic experience.

This event marks the beginning of a promising collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and the Embassy of Korea on topics of mutual interest.
