12 septembre 2025

The Dean of USJ Business School, Pr. Fouad Zmokhol, had the pleasure of taking part in the “Next Economies” Summit held in Istanbul, where he was honored to deliver a keynote speech during the panel “Longevity Economies: Innovation, Trends, Employability.”

In his intervention, he stressed that the longevity economy is not a distant concept, it is already shaping markets, jobs, and societies.
To harness its full potential, he called for:
• Investment in innovation that enhances both life expectancy and quality of life.
• Recognition of emerging trends, from the silver consumer to lifelong learning.
• A rethinking of employability, ensuring that all generations can contribute and thrive.

His powerful message was clear: what some perceive as a demographic challenge can become one of the greatest economic and social opportunities of the 21st century. Longevity is not only about adding years to life, but about adding life to years and value to society.

This engagement reflects the mission of USJ Business School to connect theory with practice and provide its students with local, regional, and international exposure. Through such high-level events, our students gain the mindset, skills, and networks needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving global economy.
