On its 10th anniversary, the chair organized an international conference "Sustainable Land Health for Human Wellbeing".

The day brought together academia, civil society, and sustainability experts for two major events:

The Collaborative Organizations Forum, featuring interactive workshops on:
• Environmental Sustainability workshop: moderated by Ms. Nathalie Khoury
• Social & Humanitarian workshop: moderated by Ms. Hasmig Dantziguian Khoury
• Employment & Entrepreneurship workshop: moderated by Ms. Rouba El-Kik
• Sustainability Health workshop: moderated by Ms. Chantal El Khoury

The Collaborative Organizations Forum ended with a Roundtable to discuss the findings.

The International Conference “Sustainable Land Health for Human Wellbeing” followed, highlighting the vital link between land health, human well-being, and global sustainability, with inspiring talks by:

Dr. Mariam Akhtar-Schuster, Program Officer, German Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity & Ecosystem Services (IPBES),
Mr. Maroun Keyrouz, Managing Director, World Economic Forum (WEF).

This milestone day reaffirmed the CEEDD’s commitment to fostering eco-citizenship, social innovation, and a greener Lebanon.
