This intensive workshop explores the power of the body as a primary tool for storytelling and performance. Participants will engage in dynamic exercises drawn from physical theatre traditions, focusing on movement, presence, rhythm, and ensemble work. Through improvisation, gesture, and spatial awareness, they will learn how to create meaning beyond words, transforming the stage into a space where physical expression communicates emotion, narrative, and atmosphere.

Instructor’s biography
Born in Beirut, Carole Abboud has a BA in acting and directing from the Lebanese University, and a Masters in Performing Arts from University Paris 8 - France. She featured in local and international productions of theater plays (with Roger Assaf, Yacoub Chedrawi, Hasan Ben Jaddi, Ezzedin Gannoun, Nabil Al Azan, Suleiman Al Bassam, Jawad Al Assadi, Stéphane Olivier-Bisson, Yousef Al Kabra, and Jacques Maroun) and films (with Ghassan Salhab, Joe Bou Eid, Selim Mourad, Aida Begic, Mazen Khaled and Bassem Breiche). In 2011, she opened her own production company, ‘c.cam production’, where she produced feature award winning documentaries and short films.
