The “Antoine and Hasmig Abdul Massih” Endowment Scholarship Fund (ESF) was renewed on the 1st of November 2024 for an additional two years.
Established by their children, Jeanine, Claudine, and André, in honor of their parents, the fund supports students enrolled at the School of Architecture of Beirut (ESAR) and the Department of History and International Relations at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
Each year, recipients are selected based on academic excellence and social criteria. This includes two third-year students from ESAR and three master’s students from the History Department, reflecting the fund’s commitment to nurturing both talent and opportunity.
Antoine Abdul Massih, a distinguished figure in Lebanon’s industry and banking sector, and his wife Hasmig, have always believed in education as a vital driver for a brighter future. Their children established this fund to perpetuate their parents’ vision and values.
Initiatives of this kind contribute to building a future where excellence and solidarity go hand in hand. In these challenging times, the scholarship fund plays a crucial role in facilitating access to education for students from all social backgrounds. It continues to transform lives by opening doors for promising talents. Beyond individual impact, it stands as a testament to the transformative power of generosity and its enduring contribution to society.
