Master of Public Health: Registration is now open!

The Higher Institute of Public Health (ISSP) at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 10th cohort of its Master's program in Public Health. This multidisciplinary program aims to train competent specialists capable of intervening effectively and resolving complex public health problems, while taking into account the contexts in which their actions are implemented.

The program comprises 120 ECTS credits spread over two academic years (four semesters). The first year is a common core curriculum for all students, who can then choose one of three specialty tracks for their second year: (1) Health Policy and Management, (2) Epidemiology and Biostatistics, or (3) Environment and Health. Upon completion of the program, graduates will have mastered the concepts, methods, and challenges of public health and will be able to analyze and assess the needs and expectations of the population. Graduates are also responsible for developing and clarifying ethical issues in public health practice and conducting research in this field. Furthermore, they will demonstrate strong leadership skills, enabling them to effectively communicate information and knowledge to diverse audiences.

All interested candidates are requested to prepare and submit an application package including:

  • A completed application form (attached)
  • Two passport photos
  • A copy of an identification document (ID card or passport)
  • A certified copy of the Lebanese Baccalaureate (or equivalent)
  • A certified copy of the Bachelor's degree. Any diploma from a university other than USJ or the Lebanese University must be accompanied by an equivalency certificate (إفادة معادلة) from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE)
  • An official transcript
  • A letter of motivation
  • An updated CV
  • A letter of employment (if applicable)
  • Proof of CNSS registration (if applicable for candidates under 18 years of age)
  • Application fee of $100
