1 novembre 2025

The 3rd day of the SE.TC Erasmus+ project, led by USJ Business School (FGM), gathered all partners at Université La Sagesse for an inspiring session dedicated to MOOC development, empowering open and inclusive education across Lebanese universities!

After two incredible days exploring Lebanon’s legal framework for social enterprises, SDG alignment, and real stories from local changemakers, the spotlight turned to building the SE.TC MOOC, a step toward accessible, borderless learning for all.

“MOOCs open the door to accessible education that goes beyond borders, social classes, and disciplines.”

European experts from Università Telematica Internazionale UNINETTUNO and the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) shared best practices in online course design, learner engagement, and quality assurance.

Lebanese universities proudly showcased their initiatives:

• USJ – Prof. May Sayegh & Prof. Gloria Haddad

• LU – Prof. Sélim Mekdessi

• ULS – Dr. Alain Osta

• LIU – Dr. Sarah Chahine

with UNIMED actively contributing to the discussions.

The day ended on a high note with a shared commitment to co-develop new MOOC modules and train academic staff across Lebanon, driving sustainable innovation in higher education.
