The Department of History and International Relations was delighted to welcome Professor Piotr Musiewicz from the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Krakow.

A guest specialist in Political Science, Professor Musiewicz addressed our students on the war in Eastern Europe and the questions of social justice within the European Union. He also engaged in a stimulating debate with students about the fears in Poland stemming from the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

We warmly thank Professor Musiewicz for his insightful visit and for fostering such enriching academic discussions. He expressed great appreciation for Saint-Joseph University of Beirut (USJ), enjoyed the beautiful weather, and discovered the flavors of Lebanese food.
