The International Relations and History department (HRI) at FLSH USJ and was pleased to welcome H.E. Mrs. Ester Lauferová, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Lebanon, for a talk with the department’s students.

The discussion focused on the Czech Republic, its historical relations with Lebanon, and its foreign policy in the Middle East.

It also provided an opportunity to address recent political developments in the region, particularly the war in Lebanon, as well as ongoing diplomatic efforts to restore peace.
