Ready to mine live Internet routing data and play with thousands of measurement probes from around the globe?

Come to "Measure the Internet", a one-day workshop that offers a unique opportunity to discover how to measure the Internet and to analyze the Internet ecosystem in Lebanon. The event features technical keynotes by well-known experts from RIPE-NCC and lab sessions using cutting-edge tools and open data. 

Application conditions

The workshop will take place in a computer lab and features hands-on and group projects with direct interaction RIPE NCC experts. Places are therefore limited and a selection will be done based on participants profile.

                                   Emile Aben and Jad El Cham from RIPE NCC

Measurement tools such as IXP Jedi, RIPE Atlas, RIPE Stat, RIS will be covered.

1:00 pm - 6:00 am:   Group projects

Groups will be formed in order to work on specific measurement projects such as:

  • Impact of the recent submarine cable cut
  • Stability of the Internet routing in Lebanon
  • DNS latency of .lb TLD
  • or any other project of your choice
