International Summer Schools at University of Angers offer the opportunity to develop academic skills in a great environment. Each program includes lectures, workshops, applied visits and an attractive social program.

Application procedure:

  1. Interested students should fill USJ’s outgoing mobility form and send it to the International relations office.
    PS: Students must also get their Dean's approval on whether or not the course they have chosen will be validated upon return at USJ. A written note by the Dean is a must.
  2. The international relations team will nominate them.
  3. Students will then receive info on how to proceed with their online application.
Admission criteria

The selection of students will be made considering motivation,  English level and previous scientific or research experience, if any.

Each summer school has their own set of specific requirements, which can be found on their web page.

Once you have submitted your application form, Angers will contact you within approximately five working days to inform you whether your application has been successful or not.

If you are selected, Angers will send you the link for registration and payment.

Once you have paid the tuition fees, a place will be reserved for you on the program.

Registration fees 

Each summer school has their own fees, available on their page 'Admission'

Fees include tuition, welcoming and teaching materials, accommodation, lunches (excluding week-end), scheduled excursions and extracurricular activities during the course.

The Summer Schools do not cover the costs of passports, visas, health insurance, travel to and from Angers*, dinners*, breakfast*. The University of Angers is also unable to provide a scholarship*.

A certificate of attendance and ECTS will be delivered at the end of the courses.
