Adaptation of our Summer School programs 2020 online.

The goal is that the content that was planned for the Intercultural Management summer school will be delivered digitally to all students who are interested in enrolling.

The course will have the following characteristics:

• 20 hours of French language teaching.
• 15 hours of the specialty of Intercultural Management.
• 20 hours of French civilization.

Methods

• Courses by videoconference (Teams): teachers will offer interactive courses based on innovative pedagogy using all the digital resources we have prepared for the occasion.
• Online courses in complete autonomy (exercises, role-playing games, fun activities...): Part of the learning will take place outside the classroom, based on a coherent training path that will be made available to the students.

These two formats complement each other and offer training whose level of excellence is almost equivalent to classroom training.

The cultural dimension will be maintained, as students will be asked to discover the French and French-speaking cultural heritage through research, online visits, documentaries, etc.

The digital summer school is the opportunity to progress in the French language, both written and oral, to discover a rich cultural heritage and to develop their autonomy as an apprentice.

Cultural visits and online business interviews are also planned, in an innovative format with the accompaniment of our teachers responsible for the content.

The date of the online course will be from July 6 to 24, 2020.

Participants who successfully pass the course will get a total of 5 ECTS.

Students can participate in the 2020 edition of ISIT Paris Summer Schools:

1. Summer School of Intercultural Management:

An excellent opportunity for students from partner universities to learn or improve their French language skills while discovering one of our school's specialties; Intercultural Management.

• Date: July 6^th to July 24^th  2020.
• Languages of instruction: English/French.
• ECTS credits: 5 ECTS.
• Public: Open to all students and graduates of Higher Education.
• Costs: 1,450 € (Does not include accommodation).

2. Summer School for Teachers of French as a Foreign Language (FLE):

This is an opportunity for teachers (or future teachers of French at C1/C2 level) who are not native French speakers to improve their teaching practices through immersion in the methodology of action; ISIT, internationally recognized for its high quality intercultural and multilingual programs, offers them the opportunity to be part of the 2020 edition of this academically, culturally and professionally relevant training.

• Date:July 6^th to July 17^th  2020.
• Languages of instruction: French
• Target audience: Non-native French-speaking teachers of FLE.
• Costs : 1,200 € (Does not include accommodation).

Application procedure for STUDENTS:

1. Interested students should fill USJ’s outgoing mobility form BEFORE March 15, 2020 and send it to the International relations office along with the Dean's official approval in case of any course validation upon their return to USJ. 
2. The international relations team will then send the student's official nomination.
3. Nominated students will be contacted to proceed with their application..

Application procedure for TEACHERS:

1. Send an email to sri.mobilite@usj.edu.lb with your full name telling them that you would like to attend this summer program. 

2. The international relations team will then send your nomination to the host university and put you in contact with the concerned persons in order to proceed with your application.

Please note the possibility of group discounts:

1-9 students 5% discount on the total cost of the course

10 or more 10% discount on the total cost of the course.
