The Montreal Centre for International Studies of Université de Montréal (UdeM) - (CERIUM) is offering summer schools on major themes of international politics. Each school brings together a dozen experts and researchers from various backgrounds and provides insight on a current international issue (seminars are ONLY given in French).
Students from USJ could be admitted via the exchange program and will be exempt from tuition fees!
Those who wish to participate in a summer school through the exchange program must :
- obtain the approval of USJ
- be enrolled in the final year of their bachelor's degree or in a master's program at USJ
Application process:
- Interested candidates should fill USJ’s outgoing mobility form and send it to the International relations office: sri.mobilite@usj.edu.lb before March 15 2020
- The international relations office of USJ will send the student's official nomination to UdeM
- In parallel, students will have to go to the following website and check all information regarding conditions of participation, nomination and application instructions, deadlines, etc.

June 1st to 6, 2020 :
- L'Amérique latine et les transformations globales actuelles
- Immigration, intégration et diversité sur le marché du travail
- Justice internationale et droits des victimes
- L'angoisse de l'ethnographe au moment du penalty
June 8 to 13, 2020 :
June 15 to 20, 2020 :
- Les États-Unis de Trump
- Gouvernance, ressources naturelles et confits sociaux-environnementaux : à la recherche de solutions
- Économie circulaire : une transition incontournable
- Sécurité et femmes
June 22 to 27, 2020 :
- Haïti dans le monde
- Droits de la personne : diagnostic international
- La géopolitique du monde arabe du Golfe persique
Please note that places reserved for exchange students are limited. Acceptance to a summer school is not guaranteed and will be decided on a first-come, first-served basis.
