Mroueh, CEO of Mersaco, unveiled plaques in Mr. Mroueh’s name at the Medical Sciences Campus (CSM) located on Damascus Street.

The unveiling ceremony, which crowns a journey launched by a generous sponsorship to renovate the old Amphitheater B, now designated “Amphitheatre Walid A. Mroueh”, took place at CSM on July 9, 2020, in the presence of Prof. Salim Daccache s.j., Mr. Mroueh, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy (FP), Prof. Marianne Abi Fadel, the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Dolla Karam Sarkis, the President of the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Krikor Sahakian, the Director of the USJ Foundation, Mrs. Cynthia Ghobril Andrea, the Board of the Faculty of Pharmacy, some friends and some USJ officials.

The ceremony is testimony to Mr. Mroueh’s commitment to education and the University, and his desire to leave a lasting legacy on the Campus, which is cherished by many of his family members who, just like Mr. Mroueh, are alumni of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
