Virtual Culinary Workshop at the Confucius Institute

As part of the cultural activities of the Confucius Institute, a culinary workshop on China's most popular cuisine was conducted online.

Forty students of all ages, each in their own kitchen, took part in this activity on October 10 on Microsoft Teams. As a first step, specific ingredients were photographed and distributed to the participants, demos were run for two hours, and then each participant sent the final result with a presentation of the diverse and original dishes. For a first try, this online culinary workshop was a great success and the Confucius Institute is planning to organize other activities. A whole world of flavors, of smells, of tastes… a whole virtual world! A huge thank you to the Chinese teachers who allowed us to make a trip to China without leaving our beloved Lebanon.
