Data is everywhere, social media and smart devices are constantly generating massive data. Regardless of the field, e.g., industry, medical, healthcare, information technology, data analysis has a vital role for future decisions.This program is provided in common between the Faculty of Engineering (ESIB) and the Faculty of Sciences and managed by 2 advisors, one advisor from each faculty.

• Cleaning & preparing Data for analysis
• Applying advanced statistical tools
• Building a Machine Learning pipeline
• Designing useful Artificial Intelligence programs for applications
• Transforming big data information into decision-making tools
• Collecting and processing big data using powerful algorithms
• Leading research topics in the fields of Big Data, Machine Learning and Statistics

Admissions

This program is mainly dedicated for the following profiles:

• Holders of a Bachelor or Master’s degree in mathematics or computer science or a diploma considered equivalent by the USJ equivalence committee.
• Holders of a Bachelor degree in mathematics, option Data Science
• Holders of an engineering degree in information technology or a related field
• ESIB students enrolled in the fifth semester of computer engineering program.
