Artificial Intelligence: Enhancing Student Learning Assessment in Higher Education

The University Pedagogy Mission at USJ recently hosted an online conference on “Artificial Intelligence: Enhancing Student Learning Assessment in Higher Education” on February 22, 2024.

The keynote address was delivered by Professor Pascal Detroz, hailing from Université de Liège and serving as the President of the Association pour le développement des méthodologies d’évaluation en éducation en Europe (ADMEE – Europe). The event aimed to equip the 180 participants with insights into the advantages and obstacles associated with AI tools in assessing student learning. Furthermore, it sought to outline potential pathways for enhancing current assessment systems. Following the conference, a specialized training workshop will be provided for USJ faculty, further reinforcing the integration of AI in educational practices.
