Professional report-writing and communication

This TU is part of the Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy, in semester 5. It is a mandatory course, which allows students to improve the written language skills in report writing for speech and language pathology students. It is a 2 credit course taught over 12 sessions. The course aims to solidify the students report writing skills by targeting the language specificity of professional writing, critical thinking skills and proofreading abilities. Furthermore, students will learn how to adapt their writing style depending on the expected recipient of the report (parents, school administrators, SLPs, other paramedical professionals or medical professionals)
