This foundational course offers a comprehensive framework for organizational leadership to empower students with essential skills and professional success. The course covers three integrated building-blocks: Personal Coaching, Corporate Leadership, and Strategic Entrepreneurship. With Personal Coaching, students will delve into the art and science of self-awareness, learning techniques to identify strength and barriers, ascertain core values and purpose, and find / prioritize ways for self-development and accountable performance. The course further tackles Corporate Leadership, through leadership theories and styles, providing insights into how to leverage and communicate to others vision, values and skills, facilitate interpersonal relations, scheme coordination to foster high-performing teams, and design strong organizational cultures (purpose, people, passion). Lastly, with Strategic Entrepreneurship (be it in business, not-for-profit or political), students will build on the previous sections of the course and gain in this last part practical and sectorial knowledge: discerning innovative trends and opportunities, charting strategy and aligning it with people, processes and products, crafting unique value propositions and business models, setting up business / financial plans and performance dashboards for reporting, pitching projects in teams, and navigating the challenges of launching and managing a new venture aligned with demands of the digital age.
