Constituted by the Jesuit fathers and in some cases by their collaborators such as the British archaeologist Lorraine Copeland (1921-2013), our collections come from several sites spread over different regions of Lebanon. Collected on the surface or in soundings and excavations, the prehistoric material includes stone artefacts, pottery, fauna... Also there are some objects from more recent periods such as the Bronze Age or the Roman era.
