DESCRIPTIF RÉSUMÉ DU SUJET ET DE LA DÉMARCHE (Ce paragraphe sera visible sur le site de l'université): The paper focuses on the role and the timeless message of the Church for the defense and the promotion of Christian values, human dignity and sharing with others. It offers an analytical debate on the degree of religiosity and the attitude of religious people toward capitalism and their engagement in Sustainable Development. It highlights the Church’s viewpoints regarding the evolution of our economic and social environment in the respect of human, personal, social, economic and political rights, to be really worthy of mankind. A comparative study between capitalism, religiosity, and sustainability will be conducted in Germany and United Kingdom. The objective is to compare attitudes toward capitalism, religiosity, and sustainability within two different visions of capitalism in these countries.
