Polyetherketoneketone PEKK used as post and core materials: Investigating the appropriate diameter of PEKK and its fracture resistance

• The primary objective of the research is to investigate the mechanical behavior and resistance to fracture of Polyetherketoneketones (Pekks) used as post and core by constructing different diameters of posts and cores in the canal, and comparing the resistance to fracture of each diameter. • The secondary objective is to analyze the mode of fracture as a result of applying forces on teeth reconstructed by Pekk posts and cores, by comparing the different diameters of the posts and cores and deducing the appropriate diameter.
