Evaluation of the effect of four resin cements on the micro-tensile bond strength to Vita Enamic CAD-CAM blocks.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the micro-tensile bond strength of four different types of resin cements (RelyX U200, Calibra Universal, Paracore Solocem Coltene and Variolink Esthetic) to Vita Enamic blocks. The resin cements are coupled to self-etch and total-etch adhesives depending on the manufacturer’s recommendations. Vita Enamic blocks will be cemented on dentin surface of extracted wisdom teeth. After thermocycling, both structures will undergo a specific cutting protocol described by Sano et al. The micro-tensile bond strength test will be done afterwards in order to specify which protocol is more suitable to cement indirect restorations made of Vita Enamic. (5)
