Maroun N. Chammas is a Lebanese entrepreneur dedicated to driving innovation and fostering entrepreneurship. Since 2003, he has led Berytech, empowering startups and strengthening Lebanon’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. His impact spans multiple industries: in 1995, he co-founded Data Management (now IDM), Lebanon’s first Internet service provider, and later reinvested in Cablevision, enhancing television access. As Vice President of MEDCO Holdings, he has contributed to the growth of the country’s energy sector. Chammas has also played a pivotal role in launching and managing several venture capital funds, further supporting the startup landscape.
