Robert Tarazi is a Lebanese-Greek civil engineer and entrepreneur, born on March 5, 1952. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the School of Engineering of Beirut (ESIB) in 1974, and earned a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University in 1975. Mr. Tarazi is the President of several companies, including BETON WLL in Qatar, as well as subsidiaries in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. In addition to his business ventures, he plays an active role in the academic and nonprofit sectors, serving as the Chairman of the Advisory Board for Amideast Lebanon (ALAB) and President of the USJ Alumni Qatar Chapter. A member of the Order of Engineers and Architects of Lebanon since 1974 and the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) since 1999, Mr. Tarazi is known for his visionary leadership and dedication to professional excellence. He is married with three children and balances his successful career with his personal life.
