Yves Choueifaty, a graduate of ENSAE and a trained mathematician, founded TOBAM and developed the Maximum Diversification® approach in 2005. Prior to this, he was the CEO of Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management (CLAM) after holding various leadership roles, including CIO, Head of Financial Engineering, and Head of Quantitative Investment Management.

A committed entrepreneur on human rights, Choueifaty is a member of the Paris Committee and the Finance Committee of Human Rights Watch. He is also the President of the Advisory Board of WeNow, a “climate neutral now” initiative endorsed by the United Nations. Additionally, he sits on the Board of Directors of RDCL (Lebanese Business Leaders Association).

Recognized with several prestigious awards, he was named “Chief Investment Officer of the Year” in 2015 by Funds Europe and “Asset Management Leader of the Year” in France in 2016 by AGEFI. As a pioneer of the smart beta movement, Choueifaty frequently speaks at conferences and is part of the “300 Club,” an exclusive group of 19 global leaders focused on redefining the foundations of investment and asset management.
