This course focuses on introducing M1 students to the techniques of on-sight oral translation from English to Arabic. Students learn to widen their visual field, improve their English reading skills to quickly analyze the meaning of the written text, and coordinate reading and fluent production of the target language. This course, which is carried forward through the second semester as well, serves as a solid basis for simultaneous interpretation with visual support.
